Social Museum Collection, ca. 1890-1931 (inclusive). Crime, Children, Truant Schools: United States. Massachusetts. Oakdale. Worcester County Truant School: Worcester County Truant School, Oakdale. (3.2002.1867). 1903-1905.

Works by students of the Worcester County Truant School attached to an exhibition board (71 x 56 cm.). These works include a copy of the story "The haughty weathervane", two copies of a variation of William Cullen Bryant's poem "Song of Marion's men", two copies of James Russell Lowell's poem "The nest", and a story entitled "A brave girl." The students were not the original creators of most, and perhaps any, of these works, and copying these works was most likely part of an assignment. Includes the work of students Frank Blanchette, James Laughlin, William Facey, Ragnor Carlson, Thomas White, and Frank McDonald. These works have dates between 1903-1905.
